         We are glad you are considering our school for your child/children.

We believe that the home and family are the primary source of learning and we would be honoured to partner with you to equip your children for life. Our purpose is to challenge each pupil to achieve his or her utmost potential with rigorous academics, positive social relationships, Christian moral values, physical activities, and extracurricular opportunities.

Elim Christian Academy offers a quality Christian education in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The purpose of this school is to give Christian training along with a solid academic foundation in the basic fundamentals of learning for the average and above-average child. Academic and spiritual standards are high with added emphasis on patriotism and character training. Each student has close, personal contact with well qualified teachers who are prepared to give a thorough scholastic background.

With a clear understanding that children will be instructed based on the truths of the bible, we will welcome students from non-Christian families to be a part of our school community.

         How does a student enrol?

All students will pick up an admission form from the school and return the filled forms to the school, with the following attached documents;

  • Two (2) passport photographs of the pupil

  • A copy of the birth certificate

  • Immunization records, and

  • One (1) passport photograph of each parent

Placement assessment will be conducted for pupils going into grade classes. Students enrolling in Nursery One must have turned three on or before 31st August, while Nursery Two pupils must have turned four on or before 31st August.

         When does school begin?

The school year begins in September for all classes, resumption will be communicated to new students once the filled admission form is returned to the school office.

Regular school hours for the nursery classes, are from 8.00a.m until 1.30p.m. While regular school hours for grades are 8.00a.m to 2.30p.m, Monday through Friday.

         Do you have an after school program?

Grade classes- After school is available for students from 2:30 p.m. to 4 at an added cost per term.

         Is there a transport service?

Yes! ECA offers transportation for pupils from Galadimawa up to Kabusa junction and the Lokogoma Area.

Curriculum/ Core subjects

ECA uses the A Beka Book curriculum. It’s a traditional American comprehensive, quality curriculum written from a Christian perspective which provides, a strong foundation both in academics and character development.

    The goal of Nursery 2 to Grade 2 is “Learning to Read”, and the core subjects are;

  • Phonics,

  • Reading,

  • Writing and

  • Arithmetic.

   For Grades 3 to 6, the goal is “Reading to Learn” and students will major in the following;

  • Reading,

  • Arithmetic,

  • Language Arts,

  • Science,

  • History and

  • Health.
